Use it on the two Vases you passed to collect their Purple Gems, then jump up the steps with the Red Gem and Bash the snowball for a Purple Gem. Talk to Bartholomew at the base of the steps to learn how to do the Oberhead Bash: Press the Flame Attack button to have Bentley smash down with his club. Playing as a yeti is exactly what it sounds like: a bit slow but with a lot of breaking stuff.
